Saturday 14th & 21st and Sunday 15th & 22nd September

During this year's Artwave, Sarah Walton will be demonstrating her working methods. These are at noon and 2.30pm on all the days that she is open. The half hour demo will consist of:

• showing of the moulds in plaster of Paris, from which the clay impressions are taken
• showing how the separate parts are joined
• explanation of the use of different clays
• opportunity for questions

There will be a display of finished small sculptures in a small showroom, as well as larger pieces in a woodland garden.

Sarah Walton is an artist working in ceramic, oak, lead and cast iron. Her studio is near Alciston, Lewes, East Sussex. Her ceramics are represented in 15 UK museum collections and numerous private ones. Her work can be viewed at her studio.
